I installed this on the roll cage of my Yamaha Rhino. I was using a Garmin suction cup mount but it tended to come loose due to the vibration and jarring when driving the Rhino off road, or even on rough roads. I decided to try this mount instead, Unfortunately even the largest U-bolt was too small for the roll cage tubing so I had to clamp it to one of the hand holds, above the front windshield area. Although, it is not where I hoped to mount it, that is actually not a bad location.
Pros: * Easy to mount. The whole process took about 5 minutes. * Holds the GPS securely, even under rough and bouncy conditions. * Easy to adjust to just the right angle. * GPS firmly locks to the holder and will not pop out like with some other holders. Read more...

The suction cup is very large compared to most OEM windshield mounts, and as a result it is very secure and can hold just about anything. It is not so large as to effect your view.
I didn’t like how long the mount arm is, so using a screw driver I removed the middle section of the arm, reassembled it, and now it is out closer to the windshield, and even more secure (I have this in a Jeep, so it doesn’t bounce around as much now). Read more...

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend (I know, real romantic, right?) and was a bit hesitant at first, but decided against spending the extra money for the Garmin brand one. I’m glad I did. The quality seems adequate, and I don’t see this falling apart anytime soon. So far, it holds up to normal driving scenarios and doesn’t move at all on the dashboard. She has a saturn, which has a large dome over the steering wheel, so I molded this to fit in the corner of the dome where it meets the flat dash, otherwise it would be too far away. It keeps its shape and stays in place, so I couldn’t ask for much more than that. Definitely a good buy! Read more...

From California comes news that a panel of federal judges that she has of Prisons, was sentenced to reduce the prison population of 40,000 per 150,000 in two years. It appears that detention is no longer an option for even the most notorious criminals where the state is forced to take such measures.
The reasons for this is irrelevant. Citizens of California need to prepare for the arrival of prisoners into society, as this action hasin place. The best way is, a GPS tracking system to be put to another. While not perfect, at least, can use their sentence to complete, the trail of the most violent, the offender or not.
Part released prisoners have always had mixed results for the criminals. For some it is a good thing because these people had spent their time, has been carefully and were willing to give back to society. For others, however, was the worst thing is thatcould happen, and was so by the fact that the crime was issued after his release. Read more...
